SHARED MUSEUM
Capstone Project for the specialization on Interaction Design by UC San Diego, on Coursera.

Problem:
Design a social experience for online museum visits for art and design students.
Solution:
A self - guided shared tour of a museum's exhibition that would let you take notes and doodle with your classmates.
Design Process
1 - Storyboarding
After a little bit of research, which consisted in interviewing a few art and design students and faculties, I established a list of features for the interactive design to have.
Each of them was storyboarded separately, so the ideas would communicate clearly to an audience and would be treated independently during the design phase.

2 - Paper Prototyping
All the features were organised in a logical structure, with the help of the paper prototyping technique, in order to test their efficiency and clarity.
Paper prototyping is a cheap technique which really helps catch mistakes early on in the design process.

3 - Menu Icons
The icons represented the ideas behind the features in a manner that is easy to grasp so that they can be selected intuitively, making use of the principle 'recognise rather than recall'.
